"[The 'mystery of faith'] requires that the faithful believe in it, that they celebrate it, and that they live from it in a vital and personal relationship with the living and true God. This relationship is prayer" (CCC 2558).
In prayer we lift the heart and mind to God, whether to request good things from the source of all good, to thank Him for blessings received, to praise Him for His wondrous majesty, or to confess our failures to respond to His unfailing love.  Since we have been admonished to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thes 5:17), we will often sanctify the day through individual prayer, but as a people formed by and for God it is also important for us to share a life of prayer in common.  The pages gathered here highlight the most regular ways in which our parish of St. Thomas More cultivates that common life.

Ya que hemos sido amonestados a "orar sin cesar" (1 Tesalonicenses 5:17), a menudo santificaremos el día a través de la oración individual, pero como un pueblo formado por y para Dios, también es importante para nosotros compartir una vida de oración en común.
